The IMS Microwave Symposium, the world’s leading trade fair for UHF, RF, microwaves, millimeter waves, and optical frequencies, will take place in San Francisco from June 15-20, 2025. Aaronia AG will be presenting the latest solutions for high-frequency measurement for three days in Hall B, Booth 1459.

In an increasingly wireless world, high-frequency measurements are essential for the development, validation, and monitoring of modern communication systems. Whether in mobile communications, aerospace engineering, the automotive sector, or defense – knowledge of the use of electromagnetic signals and their precise analysis forms the backbone of technological innovation. Not only are the requirements for bandwidth and frequency increasing, but so are the expectations for the precision and speed of signal processing. Against this backdrop, real-time spectrum analyzers (RTSAs) are becoming increasingly important. They enable the seamless acquisition and analysis of transient signals that often go undetected with traditional, swept-based spectrum analyzers. In addition, some real-time analyzers are also suitable for recording extremely fast sweeps, making them twice as effective as conventional devices.

With the SPECTRAN V6 XPR real-time spectrum analyzers, Aaronia AG is presenting one of the world’s most powerful, USB-based analyzer series at IMS 2025. Equipped with sweep speeds of >3THz/s and state-of-the-art waveguide technology, high-frequency and rapidly changing signals in the microwave range can be reliably analyzed and evaluated. The SPECTRAN V6 PLUS XPR 250XB-WR12, for example, offers 10 dB NF at 77 GHz. This makes it the perfect choice for radar measurements, for example, in the automotive sector (76 GHz to 81 GHz). Furthermore, the V6 XPR series represents an attractively priced solution. The waveguide connection allows custom amplifier and splitter systems to be connected to Aaronia AG’s real-time spectrum analyzers according to specific requirements. Aaronia thus provides affordable solutions for such applications.

Also strong as a tablet

With the SPECTRAN V6 MOBILE, Aaronia is presenting the world’s first portable real-time spectrum analyzer with an RTBW of 490 MHz. This allows even the 320 MHz wide channels of the new IEEE 802.11ax standard to be fully captured. With a frequency range of 9 kHz up to 140 GHz and a sweep speed of 3 THz/s, the Aaronia spectrum analyzers used are equipped for all tasks. The tablet, which is also available separately, is powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 7949 HF processor with 64 GB LPDDR5x RAM. Among its exceptional features are an optical network interface, 4 x USB-C ports, each with 15 W via USB PD, 2 x M.2 2280, 3 x M.2 2242, and a SIM card slot. The tablet PC can also be equipped with up to 16 TB of SSD storage space and has two hot-swappable battery packs.

Precise signal location

The broadband antenna portfolio allows the full performance of the SPECTRAN V6 real-time spectrum analyzers to be utilized. This includes, in particular, the brand-new AoA real-time direction finding solutions up to 18 GHz, or soon up to 40 GHz, based on the improved and further developed IsoLOG DF DF and tracking antennas. Among the antennas being presented at IMS 2025 are the IsoLOG DF 16-10180 DF and tracking antennas with a frequency range of 1 GHz – 18 GHz, and the IsoLOG DF 16-20400 DF and tracking antennas with a frequency range of 2 GHz – 40 GHz.

Visit us at the IMS 2025 in San Francisco at the Moscone Center and experience the revolution in real-time spectrum analysis with the SPECTRAN V6 series and the matching accessories on over 140 square meters at our booth 1459 in Hall B.
