Navitas Names Chris Allexandre as New President and CEO

Navitas Semiconductor has announced that Chris Allexandre will become its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1, 2025. He will also join the company’s Board of Directors, taking over from Gene Sheridan, Navitas co-founder, who will step down from all roles on August 31, 2025.

Allexandre brings over 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, most recently serving in senior leadership roles at Renesas Electronics Corporation. In 2023, he was appointed Senior Vice President and General Manager of Renesas’ Power Division, overseeing a $2.5 billion power management business. He played a key role in shifting the division’s focus toward cloud infrastructure, automotive, and industrial markets, and led the acquisition of GaN provider Transphorm, Inc., completed in June 2024. He also served as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Renesas from 2019 to 2023.

Before Renesas, Allexandre held executive roles at IDT, NXP, and Fairchild Semiconductor, with responsibilities spanning global sales, marketing, and business operations. His career began at Texas Instruments, where he spent 16 years progressing through various business and sales roles across Europe and China, eventually becoming VP of Sales for EMEA and joining TI’s strategic leadership team.

Allexandre has deep expertise in analog, power, mixed-signal, and digital technologies, with experience across a wide range of markets including cloud, industrial, mobile, telecom, consumer, and automotive. He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from ISEN in Lille, France.
