HighPoint Technologies, a leading provider of high-performance, high-density NVMe switch and RAID add-in cards and adapter storage solutions for standard x86 platforms from AMD and Intel, together with ScaleFlux, a leader in NVMe enterprise storage and CXL memory solutions, announced the successful validation of HighPoint’s Rocket Series PCIe Gen5 NVMe storage expansion adapters with ScaleFlux’s CSD5310 Series enterprise NVMe SSDs.
The qualification verifies full interoperability between HighPoint’s Rocket 1600 NVMe switch adapters and Rocket 7600 Pro and RAID Series MCIO host adapters and ScaleFlux’s PCIe Gen5, enterprise-class U.2 NVMe drives. Combined, these solutions deliver high performance, exceptional storage density, and enterprise-grade reliability to support next-generation, data-intensive workloads.
The validated solution is ideally suited for high-performance computing (HPC), artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and professional media workflows, particularly in edge computing environments that require scalable, high-density storage for mission-critical applications.
“HighPoint’s PCIe Gen5 NVMe expansion architecture was designed to unlock the full potential of next-generation enterprise SSDs,” said May Hwang, Marketing Director at HighPoint Technologies. “Our collaboration with ScaleFlux ensures customers can deploy CSD5310 Series drives with complete confidence, achieving maximum throughput, reliability, and scalability for the most demanding workloads.”
During validation testing, ScaleFlux CSD5310 U.2 SSDs achieved nearly 53 GB/s of sustained read and write performance when configured in a RAID array using the HighPoint Rocket 7628A Gen5 Pro/RAID adapter. This level of performance demonstrates the platform’s ability to support extreme data processing requirements across AI training, inference pipelines, and HPC environments.
“Verified compatibility with components and platforms in the NVMe ecosystem is one of the critical tenants in ScaleFlux product development,” said JB Baker, Vice President at ScaleFlux. “The collaboration with Highpoint in thoroughly testing compatibility facilitates deployment by IT teams for their enterprise, AI, and data center infrastructure.”
