RIR Power Electronics has named N Ramesh Kumar as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective 11 February 2026. After more than two decades as CEO, Ramesh G. Trasi will take on the role of Chief Technology Officer, continuing to lead the company’s technology and innovation initiatives.
Ramesh Kumar brings over 42 years of leadership experience across sales and marketing, business development, and P&L management, with exposure to diverse product portfolios and global markets. Known for his strategic approach, he has driven market expansion through new product introductions, brand strengthening, and targeted growth initiatives. In his previous role as Global Business Head – Industrial Products and Solutions at CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited, he successfully expanded operations, managed complex businesses, and delivered consistent profitability. As a member of CG Power’s Executive Committee, he also contributed to shaping corporate strategy through close collaboration with customers, partners, and stakeholders. Most recently, he served as CEO of Diffusion Engineers Limited, where he managed both domestic and international manufacturing facilities along with regional sales operations.
