The LAPP EPIC H-B series housings and inserts, now available from Mouser, are ideal for industrial applications, including machine building, control cabinets, measurement, railways, and factory construction. The housings feature robust construction and a lockable design. These EPIC H-B housings are electrically conductive, corrosion-resistant, and have a hard nickel finish. An integrated SKINTOP gland in the hoods and surface-mount base provides a self-centering radial seal and strain relief. The SKINTOP brush insert offers a 360-degree, low-resistance contact area with the cable shield. This configuration forms a conductive shell around the wire terminations, virtually eliminating electrical interference. These housings and inserts are offered with six to 48 contacts.
The SKINTOP ST/STR strain-relief cable glands provide permanent vibration protection, good chemical resistance, and wide, variable clamping ranges in a temperature-resistant design.
