Diodes Incorporated has launched the PI3EQX32904Q, an automotive-grade 32Gbps four-channel linear ReDriver designed to enhance signal integrity for high-speed standards including PCIe 5.0, SAS4, and CXL. Built for next-generation smart cockpit systems that combine ADAS, infotainment, and digital instrument clusters into a unified platform, the device helps overcome the signal-quality issues created by increasingly complex AI-powered automotive computing environments.

Designed for GPU+CPU SoC architectures, the PI3EQX32904Q employs a 0.13µm silicon germanium (SiGe) BiCMOS process to ensure robust, high-speed data transmission, delivering elevated linearity and ultra-low jitter. The device also supports Modern Standby (S0 Low Power Idle) mode, with power consumption below 5mW in deep standby while maintaining readiness for rapid wake-up.

With four independent differential channels, the PI3EQX32904Q works with any data rate or coding style without interfering with link setup, making it suitable for evolving automotive interface standards. The device integrates programmable linear equalization, output linearity, and flat gain control via I2C. This capability allows designers to optimize signal performance across a wide range of physical media and system configurations without requiring extensive firmware support. The flexibility to extend PCB trace lengths helps reduce intersymbol interference, minimizing cost and power consumption.

The PI3EQX32904Q operates from a 3.3V supply across a -40°C to +85°C temperature range. The device is available in a W-QFN3063-46 (ZR46) package and priced from $4.84 in 1,000-piece quantities.

Diodes Incorporated invites attendees of the PCI-SIG Developers Conference in Santa Clara, California, to visit Booth 12 and engage with its technical experts.
