Insulated Wire, a leading manufacturer of microwave cables and cable assemblies, will participate in the AOC Europe 2026 exhibition from 19–21 May in Helsinki, Finland. The company will showcase its solutions alongside CCC Solutions, its Nordic representative, and UK-based Castle Microwave.

IW offers a broad portfolio of coaxial cable products, including ultra-low-loss cable assemblies, Re-Flex hand-formable cables, and high RF power coaxial cables. Its products are designed to serve demanding industries such as defence, aerospace, satellite communications, telecommunications, medical technology, and the oil and gas sector.

The Association of Old Crows (AOC) Europe provides a unique opportunity to connect directly with military, industrial and academic leaders in electromagnetic warfare operations, technologies and equipment.

With around 12,000 members internationally, the AOC is a professional non-profit association that educates, connects, and advocates on behalf of its members and stakeholders across the global Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) and spectrum operations community. The AOC has several committees that help the association achieve its mission in support of its members and the larger electromagnetic warfare and spectrum operations community. Each committee, while also supported by AOC staff, has its own charter, structure, and volunteer leadership.

Insulated Wire design and manufacture flexible coaxial cable, semi-Rigid coaxial cable, coaxial cable assemblies (flexible and semi-rigid) to 110 GHz and custom composite cables – same and mixed signal conductors – a well as non-RF wire types to 33 AWG. All IW products are developed for optimum performance in high quality applications. In addition to customer specific assemblies IW is happy to supply bulk cable shipments.

IW pride themselves on offering high-quality, reliable solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of our customers. Visitors to the Insulated wire booth will also be able to collect or download four new product brochures:

  • High Power Microwave Products catalogue featuring products for a broad range of both defence and commercial markets. These include telecommunications, data links, satellite systems, airborne electronic warfare and counter measures, missile systems, UAV applications, avionics and instrumentation, fire control systems, medical electronics, and geophysical exploration.
  • The Re-Flex Cable Catalogue detailing this premier brand of flexible coaxial cables, designed to provide improved electrical and mechanical performance over traditional hand-formable designs. The Re-Flex series is available in diameters of RF085, RF141, RF250, and RF325, each benefiting from a unique lamination process and robust double shield construction. These cables feature a solder-free tin/alloy plated outer braid, ensuring resilience against micro-fractures through repeated flexing, thus eliminating common manufacturability issues found in similar RG cables.
  • Standard and Custom Wire Brochure featuring their innovative LOG-Spec PTFE insulated cable of unprecedented versatility used to achieve maximum economy in bulk and weight, and enhanced reliability for the oil well logging industry. LOG-Spec wire couples IW’s patented coaxial cable design with expanded PTFE dielectric cores soon produced a line of extremely efficient, low loss transmission lines.
  • The latest short form catalogue which provides an overview of their complete product offering including low loss/phase stable, RE-FLEX, semi-rigid coax and non-RF products.

IW’s experience across a worldwide customer base has aided in developing their capability in the high-power segment with ultra-low loss and commensurate high rated coaxial cable and cable assembly products. IW can support applications where high RF power levels need to be reliably transmitted including EMC/EMI testing, rapid microwave de-frosting, communications, semiconductor manufacturing and defence systems.
