The Pluto Safety PLCs feature a powerful, user-friendly, and cost-effective design for industrial machine safety applications.
The ABB Pluto Safety programmable logic controllers, available from Mouser, are compact and easy to program via the accompanying Pluto Manager software, making them ideal for a variety of industrial applications. Pluto reduces installation time by enabling simple communication, programming and changes to the system. Up to 32 Pluto units can exchange data without configuring or programming communication, as the programming software combines TÜV-approved function blocks and ladder logic, which is very easy to use. Pluto complies with PL e/SIL3 and can be utilized with all common types of safety devices. Multiple safety sensors can be connected to a single input while still achieving high safety levels.
The Pluto systems consist of different types of Pluto Safety PLCs for all kinds of machine safety applications, gateways for communication with other control systems, plus encoders for safe position determination of machine movements. The Pluto lineup ranges from simple models for smaller systems to controllers with bus communication for larger systems. The series also includes PLCs with analog inputs.
