The XENSIV BGT60CUTR13AIP sensor provides ultra-wideband FMCW operation in a single-chip solution. This sensor offers advanced sensing capabilities with high precision and ultra-low power consumption. The new XENSIV BGT60CUTR13AIP 60 GHz CMOS radar sensor includes on-chip processing powered by a hardware accelerator, providing customers the flexibility to access either raw or pre-processed data. By handling radar processing on-chip, Infineon’s solution offloads the host processor and enables a more efficient system architecture, enabling smaller form factors and cost efficiency. This sensor-integrated hardware sequencer with a Finite State Machine (FSM) offers the user full flexibility in configuring chirps and timing. The embedded motion/presence detection block, with a low false-alarm rate, further reduces system power by waking external hosts via a dedicated interrupt pin.
Typical applications include monitors, smart speakers, air conditioners, doorbells, sleep trackers, baby monitors, and security cameras and video doorbells.
