MIC Electronics has received Letters of Acceptance from the Howrah Division of Eastern Railway for projects worth around ₹4.45 crore. Awarded through two competitive tenders, these contracts further reinforce the company’s role in strengthening India’s railway digital infrastructure.
Under the agreements, MIC will handle the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of advanced Passenger Information and Communication Systems (PIS) at several stations in the Howrah Division. The project includes deploying modern passenger information display systems and related infrastructure, meeting Eastern Railway’s technical, safety, and quality standards. The work is expected to be completed within six months from the LoA issuance date.
These wins reinforce MIC Electronics’ strong execution capabilities in large-scale railway projects and its growing role in Indian Railways’ digital modernisation initiatives. The orders also highlight the company’s technical expertise in intelligent passenger information systems and its consistent ability to secure repeat business through a competitive bidding process.
Commenting on the development, Mr. Rakshit Mathur, CEO, MIC Electronics Limited, said,
“Securing these prestigious orders from Eastern Railway reflects the trust placed in MIC Electronics’ technology, execution strength, and compliance standards. The projects also contribute to the broader digital transformation of Indian Railways by enhancing passenger communication, operational efficiency, and station-level digital infrastructure.
