Saelig has introduced the Siglent SSG6082A-V Vector Signal Generator, which provides an output frequency range from 9 kHz to 8 GHz, with AM, FM, and PM analog modulation as well as pulse modulation available, as well as comprehensive pulse sequence generator functionality. The SSG6082A-V features an internal 500 MHz bandwidth IQ baseband source, which, when combined with the SigIQPro PC software, can generate common digitally modulated signals and communication protocol signals such as 5G NR, WLAN, LTE, BlueTooth, and IOT. The RF output has excellent 1 GHz broadband characteristics and good ACPR performance, making it suitable for a wide range of applications in research and development, production, and other test situations.
The SSG6082A-V’s signal level range is from -140 dBm to 30 dBm, with 8 GHz its highest output frequency and resolution to 0.001 Hz. Phase noise is < -132 dBc/Hz 1 GHz (offset 10 kHz typ.) This versatile RF signal generator can provide real-time output of QAM, FSK, ASK, PSK, multi-tone, and other modulated signals. It supports playback of waveform files and sequences, as well as generation of common communication protocol signals when used with SigIQPro software. It also supports real-time IQ baseband AWGN, allowing accurate control of signal and noise power, simplifying additional measurements and calculations required for receiver measurements. S-parameter compensation for amplitude frequency response and phase compensation in vector mode optimizes the broadband characteristics of a test system, which can be conveniently controlled remotely via the web.
The Siglent SSG6082A-V Vector Signal Generator further enriches Siglent’s RF signal generator product line, which can be widely used in embedded design, RF test, and other related fields.
