Bourns has introduced two new shielded power inductors, the SRP2512CL and SRP3212CL series, specifically designed to minimize power loss in DDR5 memory systems.

These inductors feature low AC and DC resistance, aligning with the performance demands of next-generation DDR5 Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMICs) and memory modules used in desktops, laptops, and tablets.

Built with a nanocrystalline core and a shielded structure, these inductors support high current handling while keeping electromagnetic interference and audible noise to a minimum. Bourns utilized a newly developed nanocrystalline powder process, combined with advanced manufacturing techniques, to achieve this performance.

The inductors operate across a wide temperature range of -40 °C to +125 °C, offer inductance values up to 1.5 µH, and are available in compact 2520 and 3030 package sizes.
