Sumida, a global leader in magnetic components, has introduced its new CEP1311F Flyback Transformer series, designed specifically for “no-opto” isolated flyback circuits like those based on the Analog Devices LT8304-1 reference design. These transformers deliver high-voltage performance, making them ideal for challenging industrial, automotive, medical, and telecom applications.
The series offers both single- and dual-output models. The dual-output CEP1311F (13324-T196) is tailored for LT8304-1 setups, providing isolated flyback conversion with a 15V input and 110V outputs. Sumida also provides custom options to meet unique design needs.
Single-output versions (13324-T083 to 13324-T087) cover output voltages from 3.3V to 400V, maintaining tight regulation under varying load, input, and temperature conditions for consistent performance.
Compliant with RoHS and REACH standards, these compact surface-mount transformers (21 x 21 x 11.8 mm) fit easily into tight spaces. They operate reliably between -40°C and 125°C, offer strong electrical isolation with 1500 Vrms dielectric strength, and feature an MSL rating of 1 for unlimited shelf life under normal handling.
These newly introduced flyback transformers are highly suitable for high-voltage power supply solutions across various industries. In industrial and telecom applications, they contribute to stable power delivery for control and communication systems. Within automotive environments, they support the reliable operation of essential vehicle electronics. In medical devices, their precision and safety features make them well-suited for managing sensitive power requirements.
