Unlike traditional radial flux motors, the axial flux design allows magnetic flux to flow parallel to the rotation axis, delivering higher torque density and reducing overall motor size.
Engineered for space-sensitive applications, the W80 AXgen supports frame sizes from 250 to 400, enabling streamlined system integration and lower logistics costs. With an impressive efficiency rating of 96.9%, it sets a new industry standard—helping OEMs cut energy use, reduce environmental impact, and lower total cost of ownership.
The W80 AXgen features a cutting-edge thermal management system that supports cooling with fresh or deionized water and oil (up to ISO VG 46). It handles flow rates between 5 and 15 liters per minute and operates reliably at inlet pressures up to 10 bar, ensuring consistent performance even under demanding conditions.
