As global technology systems continue to shift, the focus is moving from software leadership toward building stronger and more resilient hardware capabilities. The 11th edition of the India Electronics Expo (INDELXPO) 2026, scheduled from March 23–25, 2026 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, reflects this changing landscape by highlighting India’s growing role in a manufacturing-led global technology story known as Bharat Tech.

Organized by the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) with support from the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, the India Electronics Expo has developed into an important export-oriented platform dedicated to electronics manufacturing and the broader hardware ecosystem.

Unlike broad-based technology exhibitions, INDELXPO 2026 sharpens its focus on manufacturing depth spanning semiconductors, ESDM/EMS, electronic components, IT hardware, medical electronics, drones, embedded systems, strategic electronics, solar-powered equipment, and advanced instrumentation. These sectors are increasingly critical as global supply chains diversify, and international buyers seek trusted, scalable partners beyond traditional hubs.

The 2026 edition aligns strongly with global value chain integration. The platform is structured to facilitate purposeful engagement between Indian manufacturers and overseas buyers actively seeking long-term sourcing relationships. Rather than emphasizing volume alone, the focus is on compliance, quality standards, infrastructure readiness, and value-added manufacturing capabilities.

Last year, the expo facilitated measurable trade outcomes with negotiation of 830 MoUs, signing 391 formal agreements, recording 9,658 enquiries along with 5000 B2B meetings. Building on this success, ESC has planned a dedicated B2B Zone this year to facilitate pre-scheduled and result-oriented business meetings in a more streamlined and professional environment.

In addition to exhibition showcases and buyer-seller engagements, the expo will host conference sessions focused on aligning India’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem with global value chains. Key themes will include strengthening domestic capabilities, integrating MSMEs with global supply chains, leveraging FTAs and strategic diplomacy, enhancing infrastructure and logistics, and improving quality, standards, and compliance frameworks.

Speaking about the 2026 edition, Veer Sagar, Chairman, ESC, said,
“India Electronics Expo has steadily evolved into a powerful export catalyst for the Indian electronics sector. As global value chains recalibrate, India is emerging as a reliable and innovation-driven manufacturing hub. The 11th edition will further deepen international partnerships, accelerate export outcomes, and strengthen India’s positioning in advanced electronics manufacturing.”

Sandeep Narula, Chairman Global Outreach, ESC, added,
“The global electronics industry is moving toward diversified, resilient sourcing ecosystems. India Electronics Expo 2026 demonstrates India’s growing depth across high-value electronics manufacturing, moving beyond assembly to integrated design and production excellence.”

Gurmeet Singh, Executive Director, ESC, emphasized,
“The structured buyer engagement model and focused export facilitation at INDELXPO are enabling Indian enterprises particularly MSMEs to integrate more effectively into global value chains while delivering measurable trade outcomes.”

India Electronics Expo 2026 is therefore not simply an industry gathering; it is a strategic signal. The expo will be co-located with INDIASOFT 2026, creating an integrated technology ecosystem that bridges hardware manufacturing with software innovation. This convergence strengthens India’s broader digital economy narrative and enhances cross-sector collaboration.
