When installation space and budget are tight, the RECOM RACPRO1-S120 DIN-rail power supply delivers a compact and efficient answer. It provides 120W of output power across a wide ambient range from −40°C to +60°C using convection cooling only, eliminating the need for a fan. With dimensions of just 100mm high, 112mm deep, and 28mm wide, it achieves an impressive power density of 500 W/L and reaches efficiency levels up to 93.3%.
For added flexibility, the unit can supply up to 144W at ambient temperatures up to 45°C, and it supports short surge demands with a 150% power boost for up to five seconds. Models are available with adjustable 12V, 24V, or 48VDC outputs, each featuring enhanced reverse-voltage tolerance—exceeding 35V on the 24V version and 63V on the 48V version—to protect against back-feed from motors and other inductive loads. A DC-OK status signal is included for system monitoring.
The power supply accepts universal single-phase AC input as well as 88–370VDC, and incorporates active inrush current limiting for reliable startup.
The RACPRO1-S120 series is certified to global safety standards IEC/EN/UL 61010-1, and IEC/EN/UL/CSA 61010-2-201. Radiated and conducted emissions are compliant with EN 61000-6-4 Class B, and the parts meet EN 61000-6-2 immunity standard. No-load power consumption is 0.3W maximum.
Installation is simple with tool-less mounting and 25° push-in connectors. Reliability is excellent and lifetime expectancy is 111,000 hours at 40°C. Weight is just 330g
