ASRock Unveils New Motherboards for AMD EPYC 4005 & Ryzen 9000

ASRock Industrial has introduced a new lineup of industrial motherboards designed to support AMD EPYC 4005/4004, Ryzen 9000/8000/7000, and Ryzen Embedded 9000/7000 series processors. The launch expands the company’s platform range with models including the IMB-A1700, IMB-A1302, IMB-A1003, and IMB-A1002.

These boards are powered by AMD EPYC 4005 processors offering up to 16 cores and 32 threads, delivering strong performance and power efficiency for edge servers and enterprise workloads. They also support Zen 5–based Ryzen 9000 processors for advanced computing performance, along with Ryzen Embedded 9000 processors designed for long-term availability in dependable edge computing environments.

Available in ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX form factors, the motherboards include DDR5 memory support, PCIe Gen5 expansion, multi-display capabilities, and extensive industrial I/O. This combination enables flexible system configurations for applications such as computer vision, video analytics, AI-driven workloads, software development, gaming platforms, and professional productivity systems.

IMB-A1700 Series: ATX Motherboard for high-performance

The IMB-A1700 ATX motherboard supports AMD EPYC 4005/4004, Ryzen 9000/8000/7000, and Ryzen Embedded 9000/7000 Series processors, delivering robust computing performance for demanding workloads. The board features four DDR5 5600 MHz ECC/non-ECC U-DIMM slots supporting up to 256GB of memory, providing a stable foundation for high-throughput and multitasking environments. Expansion capability includes two PCIe x16 (Gen5) slots, configurable as either one PCIe x16 (Gen5) or two PCIe x8 (Gen5), one PCIe x4 (Gen4), and four PCIe x1 (Gen4) slots, enabling flexible integration of GPUs, AI accelerators, and add-on cards. Storage support includes one M.2 key M for NVMe SSD and four SATA3 ports with RAID 0/1/10 support, enabling high-speed storage deployment. I/O connectivity is comprehensive, featuring seven USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, eight USB 2.0 ports, and six COM ports, complemented by three 2.5G LAN and one 1G LAN. The IMB-A1302 Micro-ATX motherboard is designed for applications requiring strong computing capability within a space-efficient footprint. It supports AMD EPYC 4005/4004, Ryzen 9000/8000/7000, and Ryzen Embedded 9000/7000 Series processors. With four DDR5 5600 MHz ECC/non-ECC U-DIMM slots supporting up to 256GB of memory, it enables reliable performance for computer vision processing, AI-enhanced analytics, software development environments, and professional workstations. Expansion support includes one PCIe x16 (Gen5) slot and two PCIe x4 (Gen4) slots, allowing integration of graphics cards and expansion modules. For connectivity expansion, the board includes one M.2 Key E for wireless modules. Storage configuration includes one M.2 Key M for NVNe SSDs and two SATA3 ports with RAID 0/1 support. The IMB-A1003 and IMB-A1002 Mini-ITX motherboards are designed for compact systems supporting AMD EPYC 4005/4004, Ryzen 9000/8000/7000, and Ryzen Embedded 9000/7000 Series processors. The IMB-A1002 supports dual DDR5 5200 MHz Long-DIMMs with up to 96GB, while the IMB-A1003 supports dual DDR5 5200 MHz SO-DIMMs with up to 96GB, delivering efficient performance for AI-enhanced edge workloads. Expansion capability on both models includes one PCIe x16 (Gen5) slot, supporting discrete GPUs and add-on card. For connectivity expansion, both models feature one M.2 Key E for wireless modules, while the IMB-A1002 additionally integrates one M.2 Key B with SIM socket support for 4G/5G connectivity. Storage support includes one M.2 Key M for NVMe SSDs and two SATA3 ports, enabling flexible storage configurations. I/O connectivity on the IMB-A1002 includes six USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, three USB 2.0 ports, and two COM ports, while the IMB-A1003 provides four USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, and two COM ports.
