Chennai-based drone company Garuda Aerospace has sent more than 100 drones to assist the Andhra Pradesh Drones Corporation in Cyclone Montha relief efforts across the state. Garuda’s logistics and delivery drones are helping with aerial inspections, monitoring, and delivering medicines and essential supplies to areas most affected by the cyclone.

These drones are also being utilized for real-time aerial mapping, monitoring flood-affected regions, and identifying choke points to enable faster emergency response. Equipped with payload delivery systems, the drones are transporting medical kits, emergency equipment, and relief materials to remote and cut-off locations where ground access remains difficult due to flooding. The logistics drones use AI and machine learning to enhance efficiency, while the delivery drones can transport materials from one location to another with a payload capacity of up to 25 kg. The drones are currently deployed in Amalapuram.

Speaking on the deployment, Agnishwar Jayaprakash, Founder and CEO, Garuda Aerospace, said, “Garuda Aerospace has always stood at the forefront during emergencies. As a proud citizen of India, it is deeply fulfilling to see our drones making a meaningful difference during crises like Cyclone Montha. Our rapid deployment in Andhra Pradesh is enabling timely relief, improving situational awareness, and ensuring essential aid reaches affected communities swiftly. We remain steadfast in our commitment to serve as a first responder whenever the nation calls.”

Garuda Aerospace has consistently stepped during crises with its innovative drone solutions. Whether in disaster response, emergency deliveries, or large-scale relief operations, its drones have enabled swift, efficient, and safe interventions.
