Helukabel‘s offer in the TME catalog includes several thousand products. These are primarily various types of cables – from audio wiring to solutions for power installations. Below, we present a selected group of supplier articles, focusing on products for industry and automation. This range includes both cables and cable glands.
Cable Glands
Helukabel’s cable gland offering includes several hundred items. These are components that ensure the tightness of the cable passage in IP68 class (in fewer cases IP66), which means complete resistance to dust penetration and complete waterproofness, including protection against pressurized jets (e.g., from washers). They allow for durable installations in harsh environmental conditions. Helukabel offers cable glands made of metal (nickel-plated brass, stainless steel) or plastic, polyamide (polyamide 6, PA6).
Cable glands accommodate cables with diameters from 2mm to 85mm. They are made with threads in several basic standards:
- metric: from M12 to M100;
- NPT (National Pipe Thread): 3/8”, 1/2”, 3/4”, 1”;
- PG (Panzergewinde): from PG7 to PG48.
The range includes elements with broad properties, e.g., adapted to operating temperatures from -40°C to 120°C or resistant to UV radiation. Special versions have an integrated bend in the body or a grounding contact. Selected models are made in accordance with ATEX Ex standard, which can be used in explosion hazard zones (presence of flammable materials).
In addition to the cable glands themselves, the manufacturer produces a range of complementary products.
The most important accessories for cable glands are inserts and reductions. They allow threading several cables (or single small-diameter cables) using larger passages. Adaptations of cable glands for specific applications are also served by blind plugs that allow permanent or temporary blocking of the hole. Helukabel also offers nuts for purchase independently from the cable glands themselves.
Cables
The basic assortment of Helukabel consists of various types of cables. Below are a few particular groups of products, although it should be noted that this list does not exhaust the full range of supplier solutions available from the TME catalog, which includes over 6,000 items.
Single-Core Cables

Single-core cables are designed with only one conductor and are used for creating installation connections inside machines, electromechanical devices, or vehicles – and for just such purposes, Helukabel solutions have been designed. They are made in the form of a strand with a cross-section from 0.5mm2 to 150mm2 with an outer sheath made of PVC. Their temperature tolerance reaches from -40°C to 105°C. Since cable runs may contain several, even dozens of lines, to facilitate the identification of individual connections, single-core cables are made in many colors. The nominal voltage value can be up to 750V (depending on the model). Single-core cables from Helukabel can be resistant to alkaline solutions, acids, oils, solvents, many chemical compounds, which broadens their potential applications.
Multi-Core Cables

Multi-core cables from Helukabel are made for a wide spectrum of typical applications: control, machine wiring, communication, and all applications in the field of industrial automation. They are available in versions containing from 1 to 64 conductors with cross-sections from 0.14mm2 to 70mm2 (diameters 3.8…46.2mm). In selected models, the lines are twisted in pairs, and the whole is surrounded by a screen to ensure the best possible transmission parameters. The manufacturer makes such cables in PVC versions and with LSZH insulation (material low smoke, zero halogen). To enable installation in diverse conditions, the outer sheath may be resistant to many chemical substances, water, ozone, and a wide range of temperatures (from -30°C to 90°C).
Track Cables

A specific type of application for multi-core cables are dynamic installations, where the wiring is in constant motion. This requires a special design – and such products are also part of Helukabel’s range. They are mechanically resistant, which allows for long-term operation in cable tracks, frequent bending of cables. Additionally, they have a screen of copper wires protecting the transmitted signals from interference resulting from electromagnetic radiation. Most of these types of cables have insulation made of polyurethane (PUR), a material with good resistance to UV radiation and seawater. Importantly: the products are designed for use in machines intended for various global markets, including North American (USA, Canada), as evidenced by compliance with numerous UL and CSA standards.
Silicone Cables

The use of silicone for insulation allows achieving exceptional thermal resistance. In the case of Helukabel’s SiHF series, the thermal tolerance reaches from -50°C to 150°C. They are intended for applications in the steel, aviation, shipbuilding industries, in ceramic, glass, and cement factories – i.e., spaces where power and control cables are exposed to extreme conditions. An additional, but equally important feature of such solutions is a high class of flexibility (5). They can have from 2 to 7 conductors and operate with nominal voltages of 300V/500V.
Power Cables

An important element of Helukabel’s offer is a wide selection of power cables intended for circuits drawing power from the grid (up to 300V). They can be purchased in white, black, and gray versions, containing from 2 to 5 conductors (three-phase power with a protective conductor). These types of cables can successfully be used for the production of home appliances, audio-visual equipment, computer equipment, etc. They are excellently suited for all internal applications – in homes, offices, other buildings. They can also be used for laying permanent runs in partition walls or grooves of prefabricated elements.
