HMS Networks, a leading provider of industrial technology solutions that help organizations connect, control, and monitor their data, has introduced the N-Tron NT100 series of unmanaged Ethernet switches. The lineup includes the NT110-FX2 with 2 fiber ports, the NT111-FX3 with 3 fiber ports, and the NT112-FX4 with 4 fiber ports, all built to deliver reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.
The NT100 series is engineered for mission-critical applications, offering robust connectivity for data acquisition, Ethernet I/O, and process control even under harsh conditions.
Designed for harsh environments
Compact in size with eight high performance copper ports (10/100BaseTX RJ45) and 2, 3 or 4 100BaseFX fiber ports, the switches are housed in rugged industrial metal enclosures. The new switches offer high shock and vibration tolerance. The RJ45 ports have built in ESD and surge protection. Fiber ports are available with SC or ST connectors in multimode or singlemode configurations. Users benefit from an exceptional 1.2M hour MTBF rating, in slim, space-saving designs that operate in temperatures from -40°C to 85°C.
For robust network support, the NT110-FX2, NT111-FX3 and NT112-FX4 unmanaged switches support full wire speed communication. Each model employs store-and-forward technology with support for full and half duplex operation. Two 10-49 VDC power inputs are provided for redundancy.
Along with the flagship16-port copper unmanaged NT116 switch released in 2024, the NT100 series is the next evolution in N-Tron’s unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch. The new switches carry UL Ordinary and Hazardous locations as well as ATEX and IECEx certification in addition to IEEE 802.3 compliance and marine, railway and rolling stock certifications.

The N-Tron NT100 series from HMS Networks makes critical performance data easier to gather.
