The SIDELED SFH 4256B and SFH 4244B IR emitters are side-emitting Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) LEDs with integrated reflector. These IR LEDs feature a peak wavelength option of 860nm for high camera sensitivity, and 950nm for reduced red glow operation. The SIDELED SFH 4256B and SFH 4244B provide a brighter image and increase lighting homogeneity, and reduce the drive current over previous generations. These AEC-Q102 LEDs produce a higher signal-to-noise ratio with reduced power consumption compared to previous-generation devices.
The SIDELED SFH 4256B and SFH 4244B IR LEDs are well-suited for applications such as access control and security, display management, eye, face, and hand tracking, factory automation, home and building automation, and position and angle sensing.
