The EdgeLock A30 IC is an easy-to-use authenticator delivering a secure solution for next-generation regulatory standards in security, protection, and sustainability in industrial, energy management, smart home, gaming, computing, and healthcare applications.
The NXP EdgeLock A30 secure authenticator, available from Mouser, includes NXP’s new Common Criteria EAL6+ certified advanced security mechanisms, such as AVA_VAN.5 with symmetric and asymmetric crypto, to support its low-power design and include an I2C target for easy connection with a wide range of microcontrollers and microprocessors, allowing its use for various secure authentication applications. The I2C target operates at 100kHz (standard mode), 400kHz (fast mode), or 1MHz (fast-mode plus) and consumes only 5μA at halt mode when an external VDD is supplied. This authenticator is available in WLCSP and HVQFN20 packages used in industrial devices, routers, gateways, batteries, streaming boxes, and medical accessories. The EdgeLock A30 combines compatibility, a large memory, and EdgeLock 2GO support to deliver an optimized solution to securely onboard and protect device information.
Mouser also stocks the A30-EVAL, an easy-to-use kit for developing secure IoT applications and authentication for the EdgeLock A30. The A30 development kit can be used on various platforms, such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or any microcontroller through a direct I2C connection.
