Navitas Semiconductor has completed its acquisition of Claros, a power management company specializing in integrated voltage regulator (IVR) technology for AI data centers. The deal expands Navitas’ power solutions portfolio, extending its capabilities from high-voltage grid conversion to the final power-delivery stage that supplies artificial intelligence processors, known as xPUs.

Claros’ technology combines power transistors, digital control, inductors, and capacitors within an integrated IVR platform. It supports Vertical Power Delivery (VPD) and Embedded Power Delivery (EPD), two approaches designed to bring voltage regulation closer to the processor. By reducing the electrical distance between the power converter and xPU, these architectures aim to increase efficiency, improve transient response, and deliver greater power density as AI processor demands grow.

The acquired portfolio includes Packaged Integrated Voltage Regulators (pIVRs) and Embedded Integrated Voltage Regulators (eIVRs), both built on Claros’ IVR technology. Its PowerArray architecture provides a modular solution that combines multiple power-conversion elements to support the increasing current requirements of advanced AI processors.

Claros’ IVR solutions complement Navitas’ existing gallium nitride (GaN) and high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage silicon carbide (SiC) technologies. Together, these products support a broader power-delivery architecture covering the electrical grid, the 800 V DC infrastructure being developed for next-generation AI data centers, and the low-voltage power requirements of individual xPUs.

The acquisition is also expected to significantly expand Navitas’ market opportunities. The company projects that its serviceable addressable market (SAM) will more than double to over $8 billion by 2030. This opportunity includes at least $3.5 billion from Vertical Power Delivery and IVR markets, approximately $3.5 billion from existing GaN and high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage SiC applications, and around $1 billion from its emerging JFET technology.

By integrating Claros’ technology, Navitas strengthens its position across the AI power-delivery chain, from high-voltage power conversion to processor-level regulation. The combined portfolio is designed to address growing demands for higher power density, improved efficiency, and faster transient response as AI accelerators and data-center processors consume more power.

Navitas will outline its expanded AI power strategy during a webinar titled “Breaking the AI Infrastructure Power Wall: From Grid-to-xPU,” scheduled for October 20, 2026. The session will explore Claros’ IVR technology and its role in Navitas’ broader AI infrastructure solutions.
