Recently, TME has introduced new electronic circuit breakers by the brand Eaton.
The presented products belong to the PXS24 series. They are used for protecting DC circuits operating at a voltage of 24V. These components provide reliable protection. They will be particularly useful in installations based on long cables (introducing significant resistance), as well as in systems where high-voltage circuits can cause current disturbances in the DC circuit. These fuses are precise and respond to slight changes in electrical parameters – those that can damage DC receivers but would not trigger the main power circuit protections.
The PXS24 breakers are adapted for creating modular protections. Each element has connections for attaching 3 loads, each of which can be externally controlled. PXS24 not only provides the highest level of protection but also saves time, space, and installation costs (including reducing the number of relays), and offers clear operation status signaling.
The breakers are available in versions with screw or spring terminals (tool-free operation). They are adapted for quick mounting on a TH35 profile and use with busbars. The products have UL certification and are compatible with PLC controllers according to the IEC/EN 61131-2 standard.
