Powell Electronics will showcase its latest high-reliability connector solutions for demanding rail applications at InnoTrans 2026, taking place in Berlin, Germany, from 22–25 September 2026. The solutions will feature products from leading manufacturers and Powell Electronics’ key franchise partners, including Amphenol, Glenair, Honeywell, Samtec and ITT Cannon.

Visitors can meet Powell Electronics’ technical specialists at Hall 14.1, Stand 210, to explore the products on display and discuss how Powell can provide support throughout the design-in process.

Product highlights at Powell’s stand will be:

ITT Cannon Veam MOVE-MOD: Power, signal and data, no tools needed for assembly

These connectors provide the ultimate in modularity and flexibility by utilizing a range of snap in modules to achieve a variety of contact layouts and the ability to deliver power, signal, and data in the same connector. Featuring a unique ultra-secure bayonet coupling mechanism with secondary locking, MOVE-MOD’s circular form factor minimizes weight and footprint size. With tool-less assembly and installation, it is extremely quick and simple to use.

Quell EESeal and EESeal+: Retrofit EMI filtering and transient suppression into your connector

Quell’s EMI filter and transient suppression inserts for connectors are an easy retrofit that allows users to add custom circuitry to a standard connector in seconds. Quell’s patented elastomeric body suspends, isolates and protects discrete electrical components. EESeals are simply pressed into the connector body and the surfaces of the EESeal morph into a shape that mimics the cork and bottle structure of the connector interface.

Glenair IRT series: Rectangular power connector used worldwide

Beyond parameters like voltage, current and sealing, environmental and operating conditions, robustness, handling, and other customer specifications must be considered. Glenair’s IRT rectangular power connector series is one of the most popular connection systems used around the world. It is able to satisfy all of the common parameters from different railway authorities. Devices are available with three, four and six contacts.
