RECOM has introduced the RPMVH-0.5 series, an affordable range of non-isolated buck regulator modules delivering 0.5A at regulated outputs of 3.3, 5, 12, or 24VDC. Designed to handle input voltages up to 115VDC, the modules achieve efficiencies as high as 90% and feature improved thermal packaging, allowing full-power operation up to 100°C with derating to 120°C. Additional features include adjustable outputs, sequencing, on/off control, and power-good signaling. The RPMVH series expands RECOM’s RPM product family (RPM, RPMB, RPMH) by offering the widest input voltage range in its class.
Presented in a miniature 12.19 x 12.19 x 3.75mm DOSA-compatible LGA package, the parts also feature six-sided shielding for optimal EMC performance and excellent heat management. Over-temperature, over-current, and short circuit protection are included, and the parts meet the EN 55032 ‘Class B’ conducted emission standard with a simple external filter.
