Silicon Labs, a global leader in low-power wireless connectivity and IoT solutions, has confirmed its participation in Electronica India 2026, South Asia’s premier electronics trade show. The company will be at Booth Hall 10, G41, at the India Expo Centre & Mart (IEML) in Greater Noida from April 8–10, 2026, where it will showcase its latest IoT hardware and software platforms through interactive, hands-on demonstrations. This year, Silicon Labs is focusing on two key areas for the Indian market: wireless solutions for smart metering infrastructure and advanced Bluetooth technologies that support innovative connected applications in automotive, industrial, and consumer sectors.
A Platform Built for Scale
Silicon Labs designs microcontrollers (MCUs), wireless System-on-Chips (SoCs), and integrated software platforms that enable device makers to develop secure, energy-efficient connected products. With more than one billion wireless chips deployed globally, the company supports a broad range of wireless standards, including Bluetooth LE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Thread, Z-Wave, Wi-SUN, and Matter, through a unified development ecosystem.
This breadth is particularly relevant in India, where IoT deployments often require multi-protocol flexibility; utilities need robust mesh networks for metering infrastructure; and smart building and consumer applications increasingly demand compatible, standards-based connectivity. This combination of breadth and depth is central to Silicon Labs’ engagement strategy in India.
“India is one of the most significant growth markets for IoT connectivity globally, and the opportunities here are substantial,” said Sam Low, Sales Director. at Silicon Labs. “Smart metering programs across India represent exactly the kind of large-scale, wireless-first infrastructure our Wi-SUN platform is designed to support, and Bluetooth is evolving rapidly, from audio and peripherals into precision location, automotive access, and industrial sensing. electronica India gives us the opportunity to engage directly with engineers and decision-makers and demonstrate real applications.”
At Electronica India 2026, the company will demonstrate how its integrated hardware and software platforms simplify product development while meeting key industry requirements, including low power consumption, robust security, and seamless connectivity.
Live Demonstrations at Hall 10, G41
Silicon Labs will present a curated set of demonstrations focused on practical deployment scenarios across multiple industries.
Advanced Bluetooth Channel Sounding
Bluetooth Channel Sounding delivers centimetre-level device ranging, with live demonstrations covering use cases such as passive entry/passive start, tyre pressure monitoring, and indoor positioning.
Motor Control with Integrated Compute, Connectivity, and Machine Learning
This demo shows a Silicon Labs Series 2 SoC handling motor control, Bluetooth LE, and on-device ML simultaneously without external processors or cloud, reducing components, lowering costs, and enabling predictive maintenance and optimisation.
Wi-SUN Mesh Networking for Smart Infrastructure
The demo showcases Wi-SUN mesh networking for utilities, enabling reliable long-range communication for smart metering, grid modernisation, and smart cities, offering scalable, standards-based connectivity for India’s expanding infrastructure needs.
Matter-Based Access Control and Energy Management
Matter-based solutions enable seamless interoperability for access control and energy management, enhancing security, improving user experience, and supporting efficient energy use in homes and commercial buildings.
