Spirent Communications will be showcasing industry-leading security solutions at RSA Conference 2020, February 24 – 28.

Spirent will be showcasing the newest evolution of its CyberFlood Data Breach Assessment solution for evaluating the ability of an organization’s security infrastructure to detect active attackers and vulnerabilities. This includes the extension of assessment capabilities from the perimeter and internal network security infrastructure, all the way to endpoints. In addition to getting a first look at CyberFlood DBA 2.0, the Spirent booth will provide an opportunity to view a simulation of a smart city hack, based on Spirent SecurityLabs research on Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition/Industrial Control System (SCADA/ICS) vulnerabilities.

Spirent Highlights at RSA 2020:

  • Session: SCADA/ICS Inherited Insecurity: From Nuclear Power Plants to Oil Rigs, Wednesday, February 26 at 9:20 am PDT, Moscone South. Aleksander Gorkowienko will discuss his research on SCADA/ICS security and show examples of vulnerabilities from previously conducted penetration tests. He will also conduct a live simulated Man-in-The-Middle (MITM) attack on a virtual smart city that shuts down the electricity supply while maintaining a seemingly operational control center.
  • Spirent at RSA: Conference attendees are invited to demonstrations of CyberFlood Data Breach Assessment to discover, how it uniquely addresses an industry need by employing holistic and hyper-realistic security testing of live networks and devices for continuous monitoring of potential data breaches. Spirent will also provide insight into how its API-driven framework provides customers with deployment flexibility as needs shift.
