TDK Corporation has launched the TDK-Lambda DDSM series of programmable, isolated DC-DC converters designed for DIN-rail installations. The series is available in 120 W and 240 W models, offering flexible voltage conversion for industrial and infrastructure applications.

The converters support input voltages from 10.8 to 52.8 V and adjustable output voltages from 4.7 to 57 V. The 120 W model delivers up to 5 A, while the 240 W version provides up to 10 A, with 2,200 Vdc input-to-output isolation.

With their wide voltage range, the DDSM converters can compensate for cable voltage drops, increase voltage for system loads, provide isolated PoE power, and support equipment requiring non-standard voltages.

For monitoring and configuration, the series features Modbus communication over USB, compatibility with TDK-Lambda’s PowerCMC software, and a front-panel digital display with push-button controls. A 24 V/1 A DC-OK signal is also provided.

The converters offer efficiency of up to 93% and feature a compact 40.0 × 116.6 × 115.0 mm design weighing around 500 grams.

The DDSM series is aimed at applications including factory automation, industrial equipment, semiconductor manufacturing, renewable energy, telecommunications, and test and measurement. The products also meet various international safety, EMC, CE, UKCA, and RoHS requirements.
