Traco Power has launched the THL 40WI series, a new range of 40-watt isolated DC/DC converters that combine high quality with cost efficiency in a compact 1” × 1” metal enclosure. Housed in a sturdy 1” × 1” × 0.43” case, these converters support wide input voltage ranges of 9–36 VDC and 18–75 VDC, making them adaptable to various power system designs. They achieve efficiencies up to 93% and can reliably operate within temperatures from –40°C to +65°C without any reduction in performance. For enhanced heat management, an optional heatsink is also available.
The THL 40WI converters come equipped with robust protection features, including safeguards against overloads, overvoltage, and short circuits. Additional functionalities such as remote On/Off control and output voltage trimming offer greater design flexibility. Their 1500 VDC input-to-output isolation ensures safe, stable operation.
