VIAVI Solutions has introduced RF Viewer, an Augmented Reality (AR) feature now integrated into its OneAdvisor 800 Wireless test platform. Aimed at telecommunications, network deployment, smart building design, and RF safety assessments, RF Viewer lets users see and interact with radio frequency (RF) signals in their real-world surroundings.
Created in collaboration with Verizon Wireless, RF Viewer overlays signal strength data onto a live video feed, giving users real-time, intuitive insight into RF emissions. This allows for quick and accurate identification of signal locations, strength, and coverage, turning complex RF measurements into a simple, visual experience.
