New at Mouser: Qorvo QPA9510 Amplifier for Industrial & IoT Systems

Mouser Electronics, the authorized global distributor with the newest electronic components and industrial automation products, is now shipping the new QPA9510 GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) power amplifier from Qorvo. The QPA9510 is a high-performance power amplifier optimized for wideband and long-range 100 MHz to 1000 MHz RF systems supporting smart utility networks, industrial IoT, UHF/LMR radios, RFID, telematics, and other low-band communication platforms.

The Qorvo QPA9510 power amplifier, available from Mouser, is built on Qorvo’s advanced GaAs process and housed in a compact 5 × 5 mm2 QFN package that suits a variety of applications, such as smart metering, industrial telemetry, UHF two-way radios, and other low-band system architectures. The QPA9510 delivers a highly efficient and robust 34 dB of maximum gain, supporting up to +35 dBm P1dB output power, ideal for the final RF stage in space-constrained Sub-1 GHz system designs, including UHF communication systems and long-range IoT platforms. Operating from a single 2.8V to 3.6V supply, the Qorvo QPA9510 amplifier offers an integrated analog power controller that enables more than 70 dB of gain control range, including standby mode, while allowing easy tuning across the frequency band to optimize system performance.

Mouser also offers Qorvo’s QPA9510EVB 900MHz GSM evaluation board, a fully assembled test platform designed to showcase the performance of the QPA9510 power amplifier (PA) in GSM-band applications. Tuned specifically for the 865 MHz to 928 MHz frequency range, the board integrates the QPA9510 PA along with biasing and control circuitry, enabling users to evaluate key parameters such as gain, output power, efficiency, and linearity. The Qorvo QPA9510EVB features RF input and output connectors for seamless integration with lab equipment and supports single-supply operation (2.8V to 3.6V) with analog power control for dynamic gain adjustment. The board’s layout reflects Qorvo’s recommended design practices, making it ideal for prototyping, system development, and performance validation in GSM and other sub-1 GHz RF designs for industrial, utility, and infrastructure applications.
