Bluebird Solar has appointed Rohit Tikku as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a strategic move to strengthen manufacturing growth and advance next-generation renewable energy solutions.

This leadership change aligns with the company’s “Bluebird Solar 2.0” initiative, which aims to expand production capacity, diversify into new clean energy segments, and enhance its presence in India’s renewable energy market.

Rohit Tikku brings extensive experience in solar manufacturing, EPC management, project execution, and renewable energy business development. Prior to joining Bluebird Solar, he held the position of AVP – Product & EPC at Vikram Solar.

Over the years, he has also worked with leading renewable energy organizations such as Trina Solar, Reliance Industries, ReNew, and Inox Solar.

Bluebird Solar’s future roadmap includes setting up a 2.5 GW solar cell manufacturing facility, increasing production of advanced TOPCon solar panels, reviving EPC business operations, and expanding into Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

The company believes these initiatives will strengthen India’s domestic solar manufacturing ecosystem while supporting the country’s clean energy ambitions.

Speaking on his new role, Rohit Tikku said Bluebird Solar has already built a strong reputation in the solar industry and now has the opportunity to create a larger impact through innovation, scale, and integrated renewable energy solutions.

Bluebird Solar, part of the Bluebird Group, operates a state-of-the-art solar module manufacturing facility in Greater Noida and supplies high-efficiency solar solutions for residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale projects across India.
