element14, part of Avnet and a trusted distributor of electronic and industrial system design, maintenance, and repair products, has appointed CY Chan as Vice President, Sales and Service for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The move reflects the company’s focus on strengthening its leadership team and enhancing customer support and value delivery across APAC.
In his new position, CY will oversee regional sales and service operations, prioritizing sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and stronger customer relationships. He will report to Rebeca Obregon, President of element14, to ensure alignment with the company’s global strategy and business objectives.

CY brings extensive experience in enterprise transformation, mergers and acquisitions, and business integration, with a strong focus on scalable growth. He has led initiatives to establish market intelligence frameworks, centralised data and business analytics functions, robotic process automation (RPA) teams, AI-enabled quotation and pricing systems, and an Asia Quote Center — all contributing to improved efficiency and informed decision-making.
CY is recognised for his collaborative and transparent leadership style, emphasising agility, trust, and empowerment while maintaining a strong focus on results. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
