FEAS GmbH is expanding its SSE30 DC UPS lineup with the new SSE6030, a 60V supercapacitor-based solution designed to support 24V, 48V, and 60V industrial systems. This module provides reliable uninterruptible power for critical DC applications, including automation and telecommunications.
Unlike traditional batteries, the SSE6030 uses supercapacitor technology to deliver maintenance-free operation, even in harsh environments ranging from -30 °C to +55 °C. Its compact design offers high power density, storing 24.1 Wh of energy, which typically provides around 158 seconds of backup at a 4A load—enough time for safe shutdowns or emergency switching.
Built with a durable aluminum housing and full encapsulation, the unit resists humidity, vibration, and mechanical shocks, making it ideal for tough industrial settings. The standardization across 24V, 48V, and 60V systems allows businesses to protect various critical systems with a single technology. Additionally, multiple modules can be connected in parallel for scalable power needs.
From a cost perspective, the SSE6030 reduces lifecycle expenses by eliminating battery replacements and maintenance. It features easy DIN-rail mounting and operates with 98% mains efficiency, supporting energy-efficient designs.
