Infineon Technologies AG intends to renew the contracts of its Chief Executive Officer Jochen Hanebeck and Chief Financial Officer Sven Schneider earlier than planned. Hanebeck’s contract is set to run through the end of March 2032, while Schneider’s term will extend until the end of April 2032. Without this move, their current agreements would have concluded in April and May 2027, respectively. The company’s Supervisory Board is expected to formally approve the extensions in May.

According to Supervisory Board Chairman Herbert Diess, the early renewal provides long-term clarity about the company’s strategic direction. He highlighted that under Hanebeck’s leadership — alongside Schneider and the broader Management Board — Infineon has strengthened its technological capabilities and sharpened its competitive focus, positioning the company for sustained, profitable growth in the years ahead.

“We are determined to seize future opportunities — for example in the fields of artificial intelligence, software defined vehicles and humanoid robotics,” says Jochen Hanebeck. “Infineon is exceptionally well positioned to benefit from the defining growth trends of our time. The key to success is the ability to rapidly turn innovation into customer value. I would like to thank the Supervisory Board for its confirmation to continue consistently on this path.”

“Infineon combines financial stability with a strategy focused on profitable growth,” says Sven Schneider. “This clear direction has enabled the company to perform well even in times of macroeconomic uncertainty. I look forward to continuing to create sustainable value for Infineon and its shareholders in the coming years, together with a strong team. I would like to thank the Supervisory Board for its trust.”
