Infineon Technologies AG has received the Integrated Communication Award 2026 in the “Integrated Communication Management” category. The company was recognized on 22 September at the 19th German Brand Summit, held at the F.A.Z. Tower in Frankfurt am Main.
The award, presented by the F.A.Z. Institute and an expert jury, honors companies that take a strategic and well-structured approach to communication. The evaluation covers areas such as aligning communication with business goals, establishing clear governance, using technology-driven processes, and fostering a strong culture of collaboration across communication teams.
“Strategic and integrated communication makes a decisive contribution to business success. We are pleased to receive this recognition,” said Florian Martens, Executive Vice President & Chief Communications Officer at Infineon. “In an increasingly complex communications landscape, we can only create impact by breaking down silos and addressing topics holistically. This award recognizes the progress our team has achieved together over the past several years. My sincere thanks go to all colleagues who have helped shape this journey.”
Infineon’s communications function operates within an integrated organization that brings together all communication disciplines, ranging from public affairs and corporate communications to marketing communications, regional communications, and communication services. Content is planned and managed across functions and channels, topic ownership is bundled, and communication activities are aligned with strategic objectives. Clear performance indicators are used to measure success. In this way, communications makes a significant and measurable contribution to Infineon’s corporate strategy and business performance.
The jury particularly recognized the holistic approach with which Infineon manages communications across the company: “What impressed us was the consistent way communication has been transformed into an integrated management system. Planning, processes, topic management, and measurement are systematically interconnected. Particularly noteworthy are the clear governance framework and the transparent management architecture, which create a traceable link between communication activities and business objectives.”
The Integrated Communication Award, presented by the F.A.Z. Institute, recognizes outstanding approaches to integrated communications. In the category “Integrated Communication Management,” Allianz, Bayer, GEA, and Merck were also nominated alongside Infineon. The jury comprises communications experts from both industry and academia and is chaired by Prof. Dr. Ansgar Zerfass of Leipzig University.
