The WISE-6610P features 16 wireless communication channels and an IP67-rated enclosure designed to withstand harsh weather, dust, and moisture for reliable connectivity in industrial, IoT, edge, and smart applications.
The WISE-6610P industrial LoRaWAN gateway, available from Mouser, is designed for demanding outdoor environments and supports the LoRaWAN protocol for building LoRaWAN private and public networks. With 16-channel support, it handles higher packet traffic and denser sensor networks than the standard 8-channel V2. It also supports both Ethernet and optional cellular backhaul, ensuring users stay connected even in remote locations without wired infrastructure. The hardware and software flexibility of the WISE-6610P also provides rich features for edge intelligence systems, supporting various industrial protocols, including Modbus, OPC UA, BACnet/IP, MQTT, and more.
The WISE-6610P maintains the same Advantech software ecosystem (Node-RED/EdgeLink), enabling developers to scale their projects without changing their existing workflow. An embedded LoRaWAN network server (LNS) that decodes LoRaWAN data directly on the user’s device and supports VPN tunneling ensures secure communication. The WISE-6610P operates over a -40°C to +75°C temperature range and measures 160 × 255 × 79.5 mm3 (W × H × D).
