Private 5G: Powering Smart Networks for Digital Bharat

Bharat Exhibitions successfully organized the inaugural Bharat Private 5G Networks Summit 2026 at the Radisson Blu near Mumbai International Airport. The event gathered top executives from enterprises, telecom service providers, technology companies, system integrators, and policymakers to discuss private 5G deployment strategies, spectrum availability, and the real business value of private 5G networks in India.

Recognized as a dedicated national forum for private 5G, the summit examined how advanced connectivity can enable smart factories, ports, campuses, logistics centers, and critical infrastructure. Discussions focused on real-world applications across manufacturing, transportation, utilities, healthcare, and public services, emphasizing efficiency improvements, automation, enhanced safety, and new digital revenue models driven by ultra-reliable, low-latency networks.

Commenting on the event, Mr. Shashi Dharan, Managing Director of Bharat Exhibitions, noted that private 5G is quickly transitioning from pilot projects to full-scale deployments, with enterprises seeking clarity on technology selection, regulatory frameworks, and measurable ROI. The one-day summit featured keynote sessions from government and regulatory authorities, expert panels on spectrum policies and network architectures, and case studies showcasing active private 5G deployments in India and globally. Interactive discussions also addressed ecosystem maturity, device and edge computing needs, cybersecurity, IT/OT integration, and funding approaches for large-scale implementation.
