Samsung Electro-Mechanics has introduced a new high-voltage multilayer ceramic capacitor designed for CLLC resonant circuits used in next-generation electric vehicle charging systems. The newly launched CL32C333JIV1PN# MLCC was developed using the company’s in-house ceramic material technologies along with ultra-precise stacking processes.
The automotive-grade component delivers a capacitance of 33 nF with a rated voltage of 1,000 V, packaged in a compact 1210 size (3.2 × 2.5 mm). By using a C0G dielectric, the capacitor maintains highly stable electrical performance across a wide operating temperature range from -55°C to 125°C, meeting the strict reliability requirements of EV applications.
Alongside this product launch, Samsung Electro-Mechanics has broadened its lineup of high-voltage C0G capacitors in the same 1210 package. The expanded portfolio now includes models rated at 1,250 V with 10 nF capacitance and 1,000 V with 22 nF, offering greater flexibility for EV makers and charging infrastructure suppliers.
In addition to supplying components, the company provides dedicated technical support to help customers assess and fine-tune their designs, ensuring optimal performance tailored to specific application needs.
