VIAVI Solutions has launched CyberFlood CF50, a compact all-in-one platform designed for enterprise-scale testing of application performance, security, AI inference, and large language models (LLMs) at speeds up to 100G.
As encrypted applications, Zero Trust frameworks, and AI-powered services become more common, organizations need to evaluate more than network capacity. CF50 produces realistic encrypted and mixed application traffic, enabling businesses to test performance, scalability, resilience, and user experience while assessing the effects of security measures before deployment.
The highly portable and power-efficient 1U appliance combines realistic Layer 4-7 traffic generation, security assessment and AI inference testing capabilities in a cost-effective platform, bringing enterprise-scale testing to a wide range of network equipment manufacturers, systems integrators and service providers. It offers the industry’s lowest power consumption, as well as native PQC support and a TLS performance that is 1.75X that of the nearest competitor.
The CF50 includes an easy-to-use web interface for the validation of modern network and security infrastructure. It has no requirement for an MS Windows client and includes the ability to implement automated goal-seeking, MITRE ATT&CK frameworks and repeatable traffic-mix testing.
“As organizations deploy increasingly complex combinations of AI workloads, encrypted applications and distributed security architectures, the ability to validate performance under realistic conditions is becoming a critical requirement rather than an optional capability,” said Mauricio Sanchez, Senior Director, Enterprise Security and Networking, Dell’Oro Group. “Organizations need testing solutions that can accurately emulate real-world users, applications and AI interactions to help identify bottlenecks, optimize infrastructure investments and reduce deployment risk.”
“The CyberFlood CF50 combines realistic application traffic, security validation and AI inference testing in a highly portable platform, enabling customers to validate infrastructure at scale, accelerate deployment decisions and improve confidence in production readiness,” said Sashi Jeyaretnam, Senior Director, Security Product Management, VIAVI. “It provides a practical way for organizations to validate performance before complex AI-enabled and security-driven services go live.”
The CF50 joins the CyberFlood CF1000, which is targeted at large enterprises demanding the highest level of performance.
