Vitrek has launched the V10X high-voltage electrical safety tester, engineered for production environments that demand automated testing, high-voltage performance, and precise leakage measurements. This addition broadens Vitrek’s lineup of hipot testers and is aimed at manufacturers who incorporate electrical safety checks into automated quality-control processes.

The V10X delivers up to 30 kV AC for dielectric withstand testing and measures leakage currents with a resolution of 100 picoamps. Beyond hipot testing, it also offers low-resistance and ground-bond measurements, allowing multiple safety checks with a single instrument. This all-in-one approach helps manufacturers assess insulation integrity, grounding, and other safety parameters across a wide range of electrical products.

Common applications include household appliances, electric vehicle parts, cable assemblies, lighting systems, power distribution equipment, and medical electrical devices—industries where repeatable, traceable tests are crucial for regulatory compliance and internal quality assurance.

Designed for connected manufacturing, the V10X integrates with factory automation and data management systems. Its touchscreen interface enables operators to set up test sequences, monitor real-time measurements, and generate reports directly from the tester. Test results can be exported in formats such as PDF and CSV to ensure full documentation and traceability.

Additional features include barcode integration for automated test selection and product identification, reducing manual data entry and minimizing operator error. The tester also includes built-in networking capabilities and SCPI-compliant interfaces for integration with automated test systems. For high-channel-count applications, the platform can control switch matrices with up to 1,600 channels, enabling automated testing of complex assemblies or multi-point verification processes.

The V10X platform is designed and manufactured in the United States and supports multiple international compliance requirements for electrical safety testing. The system is supplied with a two-year warranty and calibration services aligned with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
