Mouser Electronics, the authorized global distributor with the newest electronic components and industrial automation products, announces a new global distribution agreement with Red Lion by HMS Networks, a leading manufacturer of secure, scalable data access and control solutions for the IIoT sector. Specializing in rugged human-machine interfaces and network communications, Red Lion’s products empower industrial organizations worldwide to access, connect, and visualize their information. Their global manufacturing and support facilities serve various industries, including factory automation, alternative energy, oil and gas, power and utilities, transportation, wastewater, and more.

The Red Lion CR1000 HMI panels, now available at Mouser, enable operators to monitor and control multiple devices, either onsite or remotely. With two serial ports and an Ethernet port, these HMI displays can connect to multiple serial and Ethernet devices simultaneously, including PLCs, motor drives, bar code scanners, and more. Red Lion’s Crimson software offers an easy to use drag and drop communications configuration, while the embedded image library allows the programmer to create intuitive screens and prompts for the operator. These HMI displays are available in sizes from 4.3″ to 10.4″, and support over 300 major industrial protocols, plus handle up to 20 simultaneous protocol conversions.

Red Lion’s PAX panel meters feature a 0.56″ (14mm), 5-digit or 6-digit, red or green LED display and operate on a wide power source range for design flexibility. The PAX panel meters support input capabilities for count, rate, time, current, voltage, process, strain gage, and temperature, enabling them to accommodate a wide range of applications. With the capability to add and change option cards as application and communication requirements change, these meters provide a cost-effective, field-upgradeable solution.

The PXU series PID controllers handle process, thermocouple, and resistance temperature detector (RTD) inputs with high accuracy, while their large dual displays provide real-time visibility at a glance. The PXU PID controllers can provide an accurate control signal (time proportional or DC analog output) to maintain a process at a specified setpoint. These controllers allow the user to select between PID, on/off, and manual control mode. The PXU controllers provide two control outputs that can be individually configured for reverse or direct (heating or cooling) applications.

The FlexEdge modular gateways allow users to seamlessly add cellular, Wi‑Fi, serial, or USB connectivity to industrial equipment. They provide a wide range of automation and network configuration capabilities along with scalable I/O, reducing the need for multiple hardware and software tools. Combining functions such as protocol conversion, routing, and cellular gateway capabilities into a single solution, FlexEdge devices eliminate the complexity of managing separate systems. Designed for easy configuration and customization across diverse industrial applications, FlexEdge serves as a secure, scalable link between modern automation platforms and legacy production environments.
